How it works
Effective AR = Base AP + Scaling Bonus. We calculate the scaling bonus for each stat based on its grade (S, A, B, C, D, E) and multiply it by your player stat. Higher grades provide more bonus damage. The formula is: Scaling Bonus = (Str × Str_Grade) + (Dex × Dex_Grade) + (Int × Int_Grade) + (Fai × Fai_Grade) + (Arc × Arc_Grade). Then we compare both weapons side-by-side based on your stats.
Inputs explained
- Weapon Name
- The weapon you want to compare.
- Base Attack Power
- The weapon's base damage before scaling.
- Scaling Grades
- How well the weapon scales with each stat (S = best, E = worst, - = none).
- Player Stats
- Your character's Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, Faith, and Arcane.
Example
Rivers of Blood vs. Moonveil at Dex=30, Int=30
- Rivers of Blood: Base AP=140, Dex=D → AR ≈ 155
- Moonveil: Base AP=76, Dex=D, Int=C → AR ≈ 115
- Recommendation: Rivers of Blood is better for this build.
Tips & notes
- Scaling grades matter: In late-game, scaling bonuses can double your damage.
- Quality builds (40/40): Maximize damage for Str/Dex weapons.
- Arcane scaling: Arcane is a hybrid stat that boosts bleed and other effects.
- Soft caps: Most stats have diminishing returns after 60-80.
- Weapon upgrades: Upgrading weapons increases both base AP and scaling efficiency.
